மதமாற்றமே குறிக்கோள்
உலகெங்கும் தங்கள் மதத்தைப் பரப்பி தங்கள் ஆட்சியை நிறுவவேண்டும் என்பதே கிறுஸ்துவர்களின் தலையாய குறிக்கோள் என்பது நாம் அனைவரும் அறிந்ததே. இரண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டு ஆரம்பத்தில் இந்தியா வந்த போப் ஜான் பால் நம் மண்ணில் நின்றுகொண்டே நம் பூமியை கிறுஸ்துவ பூமியாக மாற்றவேண்டும் என்று குரல் கொடுத்ததையும் நாம் பார்த்தோம். பின்னர் அமெரிக்காவில் வலதுசாரிக் குடியரசுக் கட்சியின் ஆட்சியில் அதிபர் ஜார்ஜ் புஷ் “ஜோஷுவா ப்ராஜக்ட்” மூலம் இந்தியாவில் மதமாற்றத்திற்கு பெருமளவில் நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்தார். மேலும் வாத்திகனின் அபிமான புத்ரியான திருமதி சோனியா தலைமையிலான காங்கிரஸ் கட்சி ஆட்சி பீடத்தில் அமர்ந்த பிறகு நம் நாட்டில் மதமாற்றங்கள் பெருமளவில் நடைபெறத் துவங்கியதாகத் தெரிகிறது. குறிப்பாக ஆந்திரத்திலும் தமிழகத்திலும் கிறுஸ்துவ மிஷனரிகளின் மதமாற்ற நடவடிக்கைகள் பல மடங்கு அதிகரித்துள்ளன.
பெரும்பாலும் சமூகத்தின் அடிமட்டத்திலுள்ள ஏழை எளிய மக்களைக் குறிவைத்து மதமாற்றம் செய்வதோடு மட்டுமில்லாமல், மிஷனரிகள் உயர் மட்டத்தில் உள்ளவர்களையும் விட்டு வைப்பதில்லை. பத்திரிகைத் துறையில் பணிபுரிபவர்கள், வெள்ளித் திரை / சின்னத் திரை உலகத்தில் இருப்பவர்கள், தனியார் நிறுவனங்களில் வேலை பார்ப்பவர்கள் என்று எவரையும் விட்டுவைக்காமல் மதமாற்றும் நோக்கத்துடன் அணுகுகிறார்கள். இது தொடர்பான ஒரு சமீபத்திய சம்பவத்தைப் பற்றி இந்தப் பதிவு.
பிராம்மணர்களை மதமாற்றும் முயற்சி
சென்னை கிழக்குக் கடற்கரை சாலையில், திருவான்மியூர் வட்டாரப் போக்குவரத்து அலுவலகம் எதிரே அட்வெண்ட் சர்ச் ஒன்று இருக்கிறது. மூன்று வருடங்களுக்கு முன் சிறிய பிரார்த்தனை கூடமாக ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்ட இக்கட்டிடம் இன்று பிரம்மாண்ட தேவாலயமாக எழுப்பப் பட்டிருக்கிறது. ஆகஸ்டு மாதம் ஐந்தாம் தேதியன்று இதன் மதில்சுவர் மேல் கண்ணைக் கவரும் விதத்தில் ஒரு விளம்பரத் தட்டி வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. அதில், “கிறுஸ்துவ பிராம்ம்ண சேவா சமிதி, முதலாம் ஆண்டு விழா” என்று தலைப்பிட்டு, “பூஜ்ய ஸ்ரீ பாகவதர் வேதநாயகம் சாஸ்த்ரிகள் அவர்களின் கதாகாலஷேபம் சனிக்கிழமை 8-ம் தேதி மாலை 5 மணி அளவில் நடைபெறும், அனுமதி இலவசம்” என்று விளம்பரம் செய்யப் பட்டிருந்தது. இவ்விளம்பரத்தைப் பார்த்த திருவான்மியூர் வாழும் இந்துக்களில் சிலர் அதிர்ந்து போயினர்.
தங்கள் மதத்தில் ஜாதிப் பாகுபாடுகள் கிடையாது என்று கிறுஸ்துவர்கள் பீற்றிக்கொண்டாலும், நடைமுறையில், தேவாலயத்தில் இருக்கை முறை முதல் கல்லறையில் புதைக்கும் முறை வரை, ஜாதி வேற்றுமை கையாளப் படுகிறது. மேலும் அப்பாவி இந்துக்களை மதமாற்றம் செய்யும்போது “இயேசுவின் பார்வையில் அனைவரும் சமம்” என்று சொல்லும் மதப்பிரசாரகர்களும் பாதிரிகளும் காரியம் முடிந்தவுடன் தங்கள் கண்களையும் மூடிக்கொண்டு விடுவார்கள். மாற்றப்பட்ட நம் மக்கள் தாங்கள் கும்பிடும் சாமியையும், கும்பிடும் முறையையும் தவிர்த்து வேறு எந்த மாற்றமும் காணார்கள்!
ஆனாலும் பிராம்மணர்கள் என்ற சமூகத்தினரின் பெயரை வெளிப்படையாகக் குறிப்பிட்டு விளம்பரம் செய்த ”கிறுஸ்துவ பிராம்மண சேவா சமிதி” என்ற அமைப்பின் பெயர் அதிர்ச்சியைத் தந்தது உண்மை. அமைப்பு புதியதாக இருந்தாலும், அதனை ஆரம்பித்து செயல்படுத்தும் “சாது செல்லப்பா” என்னும் மதப்பிரசாரகர் “அறுவடை” செய்வதில் பெயர் போனவர்தான். திருவான்மியூர் நிகழ்வுகளைப் பார்ப்ப்தற்கு முன்னால் இவரைப் பற்றி நாம் தெரிந்துகொள்வது முக்கியம்.
சூது செய்யும் சாது
தென்தமிழகத்தில் இந்துக் குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்து, கோயில் சூழ்நிலையில் வளந்த இவர் சிறு வயதிலேயே இதிஹாச புராணங்களை நன்கு கற்றவராம்! தினமும் கோயில் வழிபாடுகளில் கலந்துகொள்ளும் இவரின் சந்தேகங்களுக்கும், கேள்விகளுக்கும் கோயில் குருக்களும் அங்கிருந்த மற்ற ”பண்டிதர்களும்” சரியாக விளக்கங்கள் கொடுக்க இயலாத நிலையில், மனம் வெறுத்து, ஓடும் ரயிலில் இருந்து குதித்து தற்கொலை செய்துகொள்ள எத்தனித்த போது, எங்கோ ஒரு தேவாலயத்திலிருந்து காற்றில் மிதந்து வந்த விவிலிய உரை ஒன்று வெதும்பியிருந்த இவர் மனத்தில் புத்துணர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியதாம்! அடுத்த ரயில் நிலையத்திலேயே இறங்கி அந்தத் தேவாலயத்தை அடைந்து அங்கே இயேசுவைக் கண்டு தெளிவுபெற்று மனம்மாறி கிறுஸ்துவராக மாறி விட்டாராம்! அன்றைய தினம் ’மே’ மாதம் 14-ம் தேதி, 1967-ம் வருடமாம்! (இந்த விவரங்களைத் தருவதும் கிறிஸ்தவ பிரசார இலக்கியமே என்பதை நினைவில் கொள்ளுங்கள்).
இனி சில உண்மையான தகவல்கள். இயேசுவின் ஆணைப்படி கிறுஸ்துவ மதத்தைப்
பரப்புவதையே தொழிலாகக் கொண்ட இவர், குறுகிய காலத்திலேயே தமிழகம் முழுதும் சுற்றுப் பயணம் செய்து கணிசமான அளவில் இந்துக்களை மதம்மாற்றி சர்ச்சுகளில் இணைத்துள்ளார்ர். 1974-ல் முழு நேர எவாங்கலிக்க ஊழியரான இவர் ”அக்னி ஊழியங்கள்” (Agni Ministries) என்ற நிறுவனத்தைத் தொடங்கி, நடத்தி வருகிறார். 1982-ல் “அக்னி” என்ற மாதாந்திரத் தமிழ் பத்திரிகையை உலகெங்கும் உள்ள தமிழர்களுக்காக(!?) ஆரம்பித்து, நடத்தி வருகிறார். 1995-ல் இயேசு இவருக்கு, புதிய சர்ச்சுகள் நடவு செய்யச்சொல்லி உத்தரவு இட, அன்றிலிருந்து இன்றுவரை 27 சர்ச்சுகள் நடவு செய்து, அவற்றுக்கு 27 பங்குத் தந்தைகளும் நியமனம் செய்து, அறுவடைக்கு வழிசெய்துள்ளார். 28 தமிழ் புத்தகங்களையும் 2 ஆங்கிலப் புத்தகங்களையும் எழுதியுள்ளாராம். பல வெளிநாடுகளுக்குப் பயணம் செய்து அங்குள்ள மதப் பிரசாரகர்களைச் சந்தித்திருக்கிறார். அந்த மாதிரியான வெளிநாட்டுப் பயணங்களில் ஆங்காங்கேயுள்ள இலங்கைத் தமிழ் இந்துக்களில் சிலரையும் கிறுஸ்துவர்களாக மதம்மாற்றி மாபெரும் ஊழியம் புரிந்துள்ளார் என்கிற விஷயத்தை நாம் முக்கியமாகக் கவனத்தில் கொள்ளவேண்டும். இவருடைய அக்னி ஊழிய மையம், “இந்தியாவின் எவாங்கலிக்க நடவடிக்கைக் குழு” (“Evangelical Action Team of India”) என்ற இயக்கத்தின் கீழ் இயங்கி வருகிறது. இந்தியா முழுவதும் சர்ச்சுகள் நடவு செய்து அறுவடைகள் செய்வதோடல்லாமல், எவாங்கலிக்க வகுப்புகளும் நடத்தி, பங்குத்தந்தைகளுக்கு எவாங்கலிக்கப் பயிற்சிகளும் கொடுத்து வருகிறது. இந்திய மதங்களை (இந்து, பௌத்த, ஜைன, சீக்கிய மதங்கள்) பற்றிய விவரங்களையும், அவற்றின் மத நூல்களையும், கோட்பாடுகளையும் எப்படி திரித்துக் கூறி மதமாற்றம் செய்ய உபயோகப் படுத்திக் கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்பதையும் விவிலிய பள்ளிகள் மற்றும் கல்லூரிகளில் இந்த மையம் கற்றுத் தருகிறது. ஆங்காங்கே சிறு பிரார்த்தனைக் குழுக்கள் (Prayer Cells) அமைத்து அவற்றின் உதவியுடன் சர்ச்சுகள் நடுவது, இந்துமதக் கோட்பாடுகளை கிறுஸ்துவ மதக் கோட்பாடுகளுடன் ஒப்பிட்டு, அதற்கேற்றார் போல் அவற்றைத் திரித்து எழுதுவது, திரித்து எழுதப்பட்டவற்றைச் சொல்லி இந்துக்களை மதம்மாற்றுவது, இந்தியாவில் நிலவும் சூழ்நிலைகளைச் சொல்லி (நிதி திரட்டுவதற்காக) வெளி நாட்டு இயக்கங்களுடன் கூட்டணி அமைப்பது போன்ற செயல்களில் தீவிரமாக ஈடுபடுகிறது (http://www.agniministries.org/AboutUs.aspx ).
“இந்தியாவின் எவாங்கலிக்க நடவடிக்கைக் குழு”, 1980-ல் கோயமுத்தூரில், சாது செல்லப்பாவால் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இவரே 20 இயக்குனர்கள் கொண்ட நிர்வாகக் குழுவின் தலைமை இயக்குனராகவும் இருக்கிறார். கல்வி, சுகாதாரம் போன்ற துறைகளில் சேவை என்கிற பெயரில் மதப் பிரசாரம் செய்வதும், மதமாற்றம் செய்வதும் இந்த இயக்கத்தின் பிரதான வேலை (http://www.agniministries.org/EATI.aspx). தீபாவளித் திருநாள் கிறுஸ்துவப் பண்டிகை என்றும், கடவுளர்க்கு பலி கொடுக்கும் வழக்கம் கிறுஸ்துவப் பழக்கம் என்றும், காயத்ரி மந்திரம் உண்மையில் இயேசுவைப் பற்றியதே என்றும் திரித்துக் கூறும் இந்த ”சாது”, ‘சனாதன தர்மத்தை இவ்வுலகுக்கு எடுத்துக் கூறும் வேதங்கள், இயேசுவின் வருகையை எதிர்நோக்கியிருந்தன. எனவேதான் வேதத்தில் ’புருஷ பிரஜாபதி’ மனிதனாக இவ்வுலகில் அவதரித்து தன்னையே தியாகம் செய்வார் என்று சொல்லியுள்ளது. இந்திய மக்களின் (இந்துக்களின்) வேதத் தேடுதலை முழுமையாக நிறைவேற்றவே இயேசு அவதரித்தார், ஏனென்றால், இறைதூதரின் வருகையால் எப்படி ’பழைய ஏற்பாடு’ முழுமையடைந்ததோ, அதே போல் இயேசு இல்லாமல் வேதங்கள் முழுமையடையாது’ என்று பகிரங்கமாக வெட்கமில்லாமல் முழங்குகிறார்.
மேலும், “இந்துமதம் விவிலியத்திலிருந்து தோன்றியதே” என்று பத்து பாகங்களில் இந்த ”யூ டியூப்” சானலில் இந்துமதக் கோட்பாடுகளை பலவாறாகத் திரித்துக் கூறி மிக வெளிப்படையாக அப்பட்டமான மோசடியைச் செய்து வருகிறார்.
திருவான்மியூர் நிகழ்வுகள்
சூது செய்யும் “சாது”வைப் பற்றியும் அவர் செய்யும் சூழ்ச்சிகளைப் பற்றியும் புரிந்துகொண்டீர்கள் அல்லவா! இனி திருவான்மியூரில் என்ன நடந்தது என்பதையும் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.
விஜில் இணைய தளத்தின் (www.vigilonline.com) ஆசிரியர் ராதா ராஜன், கட்டுரையாளர் பி.ஆர்.ஹரன், மயிலாப்பூர் தொகுதி சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர் எஸ்.வி.சேகர் ஆகியோர் திருவான்மியூர் காவல் நிலைய இன்ஸ்பெக்டர், வேறு சில காவல் துறை உயர் அதிகாரிகள், தலைமை மற்றும் உள்துறைச் செயலகங்கள் மற்றும் மாநகரக் காவல் துறை கமிஷனர் ஆகியோரைத் தொலைபேசி மூலம் தொடர்பு கொண்டு “கிறுஸ்துவ பிராம்மண சேவா சமிதி” என்கிற மதமாற்ற மோசடி பற்றிப் புகார் அளித்துள்ளனர்.
அதோடு, வியாழக் கிழமை ஆறாம் தேதி மாலை முன்னாள் இஆப (IAS) அதிகாரி வி.சுந்தரம், ஹரன், மற்றும் ஹிந்து இயக்கங்களைச் சேர்ந்த சமூகத் தொண்டர்கள் சிலர் திருவான்மியூர் காவல் நிலையத்திற்கு நேரில் சென்று புகார் செய்ததன் பேரில், சப் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் மற்றும் சில காவலர்கள் சர்ச்சிற்குச் சென்று அங்கிருந்த இரண்டு விளம்பர பானர்களையும் அகற்றி பூஜ்ய ஸ்ரீ பாகவதர் வேதநாயக சாஸ்த்ரிகளின் கதாகாலஷேபம் என்று சொல்லப்படுகிற அந்த நிகழ்ச்சியை நடத்தக் கூடாது என்றும் எச்சரிக்கை விடுத்தனர். காவல் துறையினர் முன்னிலையில் அந்த சர்ச்சைக்குரிய பேனர் அகற்றப் படுவதை கீழ்க் கண்ட வீடியோவில் காணலாம்.
வேதநாயக சாஸ்திரி, மகனுடன்ஏழாம் தேதி வெள்ளிக்கிழமை வெறுமனே இருந்த சர்ச்சில், எட்டாம் தேதி காலை இரண்டு பானர்களும் மீண்டும் தலை தூக்கியுள்ளன. ஆனால் பானர்களின் தலைப்பில் இருந்த “கிறுஸ்துவ பிராம்மண சேவா சமிதி” என்ற வார்த்தைகள் மட்டும் ஒரு துணியால் மறைக்கப் பட்டிருந்தன. பூஜ்ய ஸ்ரீ, பாகவதர், சாஸ்த்ரிகள் போன்ற வார்த்தைகளோ, கதாகாலஷேபம் என்ற வார்த்தையோ நீக்கப் படவில்லை. மேலும் சர்ச் வாயிலில் பந்தல் போடப்பட்டு பெரிய வாழை மரங்களும் இளநீர் கொத்துகளும் பந்தலின் இரண்டு பக்கங்களிலும் கட்டப்பட்டு சர்ச்சுக்கே ஒரு ஹிந்து மண்டபத்தின் சாயல் அளிக்கப் பட்டிருந்தது. ஒரு இந்துப் பண்டிகை கொண்டாடும் இடம் எப்படியிருக்குமோ அப்படி இருந்திருக்கிறது சர்ச்.
அந்த மற்ற வார்த்தைகளை பானர்களிலிருந்து நீக்கச்சொல்லி செய்யப் பட்ட தொலைபேசி மற்றும் நேரடிப் புகார்களுக்கு திருவான்மியூர் காவலர்கள் எந்த நடவடிக்கையும் எடுக்கவில்லை. அதற்கு மாறாக அவர்களின் பாதுகாப்புடன் ”பூஜ்ய ஸ்ரீ பாகவதர் ”வேதநாயகம்
“சாஸ்த்ரி”களின் ”கதாகாலஷேபம்” நடைபெற்று முடிந்திருக்கிறது. பானரில் ஒரு பகுதியை மட்டும் நீக்கியதன் மூலமும், நிகழ்ச்சியை பாதுகாப்பாக நடத்தியதன் மூலமும், காவல் துறை ஏதோ நடுநிலையாக நடந்து கொண்டுவிட்டதாக நினைக்கலாம். ஆனால் அது முற்றிலும் தவறு.
கடுமையான தண்டனை தேவை
சர்ச்சில் நடந்து முடிந்த நிகழ்ச்சி சட்டத்திற்கு புறம்பானது. கிறுஸ்துவ மதத்திற்கும் கதாகாலஷேபத்திற்கும் என்ன சம்பந்தம்? கிறுஸ்துவ மதப் பிரசாரகர்கள் தங்களை சாது, பாகவதர், சாஸ்த்ரிகள், என்றெல்லாம் எவ்வாறு அழைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம்? ’பூஜ்ய ஸ்ரீ’ என்ற பட்டங்களை எவ்வாறு போட்டுக் கொள்ளலாம்? இவை வெட்கங்கெட்ட செயல் மட்டுமல்லாமல் சட்டத்திற்குப் புறம்பானவை அல்லவா? தங்களிடையே ஜாதிகளே இல்லையென்றும், ஜாதி வேற்றுமைகள் நாங்கள் கடைப்பிடிப்பதில்லை என்றும் பீற்றிக்கொள்ளும் ஒரு மதத்தினர், பிராம்மணப் பிரிவு ஒன்றை எவ்வாறு துவக்கலாம்?
கிறுஸ்துவத்திற்கும் பிராம்மணத்திற்கும் என்ன சம்பந்தம்? வேதங்கள், உபநிடதங்கள், புராணங்கள், இதிஹாசங்கள், ஆகியவை இந்து மதத்தின் ஆன்மிகப் பொக்கிஷங்கள். சனாதன தர்மத்தை இந்துக்களுக்கு விளக்கும் புனித நூல்கள். இவற்றை உபயோகித்து தங்கள் கடவுளையும், மதத்தையும், கிறுஸ்துவ மதப்பிரசாரகர்கள் வியாபாரம் செய்வது மானங்கெட்டத்தனம் மட்டுமல்லாமல் சட்டத்தின் கீழ் கடுமையாகத் தண்டிக்கப் படவேண்டியதாகும். இந்து மதக் கோட்பாடுகளை உபயோகித்து கிறுஸ்துவத்தை வியாபாரம் செய்தால் என்ன அர்த்தம்? கிறுஸ்துவத்திலோ, இயேசுவிடமோ, சொல்லிக்கொள்வதற்கு உருப்படியான விஷயங்கள் ஏதும் இல்லை என்று தானே அர்த்தம்? செல்லப்பா, வேதநாயகம், மற்றும் அவர்களைப் போன்றவர்கள் அனைவரும் இ.பி.கோ. 153எ, 295எ, 298 மற்றும் பல பிரிவுகளின் கீழ் கடுமையாகத் தண்டிக்கப் படவேண்டியவர்கள்.
எவாங்கலிக்கர்கள் விற்பனைப் பிரதிநிதிகள் போல. விற்பனைப் பிரதிநிதிகள் தங்கள் சரக்கை விற்பதற்கு எப்படி அடுத்த நிறுவனத்தின் சரக்குகளின் குணநலன்களை உபயோகப்படுத்த முடியாதோ, அதே போல் எவாங்கலிக்கர்கள் இந்து மத கோட்பாடுகளை உபயோகித்து கிறுஸ்துவத்தை வியாபாரம் செய்ய முடியாது, செய்யவும் கூடாது. அவ்வாறு செய்வது ஒருவிதத்தில் இயேசுவுக்குச் செய்யப்படும் அவமதிப்பும் துரோகமுமே ஆகும் அல்லவா? இந்தப் பாவத்திற்கு மன்னிப்பு உண்டா என்பது பற்றி கிறிஸ்துவ விசுவாசிகள் தான் சொல்லவேண்டும்!
இயேசு மீது விசுவாசம் கொண்ட, கிறுஸ்துவத்தின் மீதுஅந்த மதத்தின் அடிப்படையிலேயே நியாயமான ஈடுபாடு கொண்ட, உண்மையான கிறுஸ்துவர்கள் என்று சொல்லிக் கொள்பவர்கள் விரைவில் விழிப்படைந்து செல்லப்பாக்களையும், வேதநாயகர்களையும் கட்டுப்படுத்தாவிட்டால் சமூகத்தில் மத நல்லிணக்கம் பாதிக்கப் படும்; சட்ட ஒழுங்குப் பிரச்சனை ஏற்படும்; அமைதி கெடும். இது பல மதத்தவர்களும் கூடி வாழும் நம் தேசத்திற்கு சிறிதும் நன்மை பயக்காது.
மொத்தத்தில் கிறுஸ்துவர்கள் மதப் பிரச்சாரத்தையும், மத மாற்றச் சூழ்ச்சிகளையும், கீழ்த்தரமான ஆள்சேர்ப்பு யுக்திகளையும் முற்றிலுமாக நிறுத்துவதே அமைதிக்கு வழி.

My father was asked to convert to get admission for my sister at Nirmala school at Madurai. They have said that an open conversion is not required now, but asked us to change names of all the family members with christian names in the ration card. In every way it is a forced conversion in which rights to a hindu for livelihood is threatened.
We refused.
As everything is oral and through an intermediary this kind of conversion cannot become affidavit in the court of law. This is how the conversion is done in most cases. The remaining few do not even know that they were converted, but threatened not to escape.

If it is so spiritual ( as concluded bu you) why then you are not answering the main accusation of using Hindu spiritual words, Themes. Please answer the main accusation and then we can disciss about Spiritual superiority of the religions

Day before yesterday, I saw the news item on a Christian festival launch at Velankanni. You won’t believe…they are all wearing Saffron just like Sabarimala devotees and doing Kodi ettram ( Kodi maram idea is also from Hindu temples ). They copy from Hindus thereby confusing Hindus and attract Hindu ignorants to their faith !! Inculturation at its worst !

Jatayu is wrong. The mission of the church in the words of the church is ‘church planting’. Planting a bomb and planting a church have the same destructive effect. Planting is both correct and apt.
I had good obenion on Christians, but not now after I heard the news that Christian missions went to TSUNAMI affected areas in TN and asked the peoples to convert as Christians by giving money and other humanitarian help(refused otherwise). In fact some Christian peoples act like blind and asked the people for prayers those days.

To write about christian conversions, etc, you must first understand the divisions in Chritianity. Sathu Chellapa is not a catholic(so is Bush) and so you should not bring in Vatican here. The words சாது, பாகவதர், சாஸ்த்ரிகள், ‘பூஜ்ய ஸ்ரீ’ do not belong to Hindus alone. They are Tamil words which can be used by anybody.
Do not generalize anything. You know when a SC/ST Hindu converts to Chrisitanity he would become BC, but that is not the case when he converts to Budhism, Sikhism, etc. It says Indian governmetn is against Christianity. Ortherwise I would say Indian government itself think Christians are well informed and progressed in society. If you dispute this ask the government to change the reservation law as per caste not religion.
Like this Raja’s comment about Velankanni festivals shows his ignorance. Flag hoisting,etc are practiced even in Jewish festivals. Christianity originated from Palestine/Israel area where Jewish people live and so chrisitanity adopted that (not from Hinduism).

Your contention is all about English that takes a lot from Latin. So, no wonder Jataayu’s suggestion and your rejection sounds Greek and Latin to our eyes.
Jataayu is asking to refrain from using the terminology used by the church. Because, their terminology gives a holy aura to their illicit and filthy tricks.
“Tree planting” is a noble karma of Hindus, whereas “Church Planting” is not. People accustomed to “Tree Planting” would tend to consider “Church Planting” in a benign manner. That would be contrary to truth.
Only Hindu scriptures like its Pagan sisters speak highly of worshiping and supporting nature. Christianity, like its abrahamic half-brothers completely against nature and village life. That is the biggest separating factor.
By that usage, the phrase “Planting a Church” is completely different from “Church Planting”. Christians do not plant a tree, neither can they grow the natural goodness in human beings.
When the verb “planting” comes before a noun, it actually indicates:
1. that is done for the first time
2. is completely new to the surrounding
3. is against the surrounding
4. the planted was seeded and sprouted somewhere else, but planted in a new place
5. mostly used to do something negative and certainly not positive or good
So, the correct usage of the church terminology, “Church Planting” actually means “Planting of Church” like “Planting a doubt” or “Planting a bomb”. You don’t “doubt plant” or “bomb plant”; but, christians “plant a doubt” or “plant a bomb” as they are doing in north-eastern India.
So, the usage “Planting a church” actually means what they do: that is, planting a doubt in the minds of innocents that their gods are satans and devils; they plant the idea in the believers and non-believers’ mind that that they are nothing but sinners. (Whereas, hinduism say you are all “children of eternal holy life”.)
So, I support what Jataayu recommends. Christianity “plants a church”, then “plants a doubt”, which will end up in “planting bombs” against non-christians by christians, against catholics by non-catholics, and against non-catholics by catholics.
The history of West is only the history of christian violence.
But, we Hindus, do “Tree planting” and give fruits, shadow, and fulfillment to humanity; christians “plant a church” and give violent lifestyle to humanity.

Which non-Hindu and anti-Hindu entities use these words, other than christian missions? can you pl tell me?
Do Maoists, Dravidianists, muRpokku ezuthaalars use such terminology? No, they only make fun of it. They create new words to describe their views – Such a rich language like Tamil does not have dearth of words, isnt it?

The Christian Tamil fanatics who were part of Dravidian movement were all out condemning Tamils who kept their original names given to them by their parents like Narayanaswamy, Vedachalam, Paramasivam, Subramaniam etc. They caused confusion and sense of guilt in the minds of immature Tamil lovers and promoted strange sounding artificical names like vazhuthi, maran, sezhiyan etc. – names which sound alien to the families themselves and to the rest of the Indians!

So the argument of such words being a part of the language does NOT hold. It is pure, unadulterated robbery of not just Hindu concepts but also Hindu words by Christian missions.

Well, this was not related to conversion at all. this was abt the Dravidian movement which was hand in glove with the Christian missionaries in TN.
Tamils who had these *Hindu* names were exhorted to change them to “pure Tamil” names as if those names were disgraceful! But the Christians were never asked to give up their David, George, Joseph, John names (as if they were all in “pure tamil”).. plus the Christians also appropriated Hindu names unabashedly.

oh ! so which words are they – Arabic? Hebrew? Swahili? Islamic? Christian? American?
Santhosh = sam + toshaH. The word “sam” is Vedic, meaning “With” and “together”. it is also a Bijakshara, ie. a seed syllable in Tantra.
toshaH means inner happiness, and has a quintessential *Hindu* philosophical connotation.
Prabhakar = prabha + kar, the one who produces encircling light (Prabha = pra + bha). It is the name of God Surya. “bhA” means not just optical light, but also the light of lights, which is Atman/Brahman …
“tameva *bhA*ntaM anu*bhA*ti sarvam, yasya *bhA*sA sarvam idam vi*bhA*ti” as the Katha Upanishad says.

Thats why i have been advising the Hindus. Stop being quiet. Be more aggressive. Sage Vidyaranyar and Saint Ramadass were all saints. But they encouraged aggressiveness and use of muscle power whenever there is danger to sanatana dharma. Sage Vidyaranyar laid the foundations for Vijayanagar Empire. Saint Ramadass inspired Veera Shivaji to fight for Hindu Dharma.
Kumudam Jothidam AMR already said we Hindus have to stop this conversion games. He stresses the important for Hindu Unity. Please read Max Muller – A Lifelong Masquerade.. In that book you can find a character Robert de Nobili ( not fictional real one) created 4th Veda ( Atharvana veda which according to hindus was not available) and named it as Esur Vedam to fool gullible Hindus in Madurai. In that he deliberately inserted verses to have pointers to christianity, even Voltaire was dubbed by this quack ; Voltaire wrote a letter to this hoax. Please do not underestimate you fore fathers capability to go to any extent for the conversion..
May be I am wrong after all Vedam is also in a word in a Language so why should Hindus question when Christians created one of Hindu Vedas?
